Barbados Reggae Weekend 2026: Massive Lineup Revealed as Festival Moves to Kensington Oval

The Wait Is Over! Barbados Reggae Weekend 2026 takes over as it is moving to the legendary Kensington Oval this April with a massive three-night lineup that blends foundation legends with the hottest names in modern dancehall.

Organizers officially launched the season this week with media personality Shadae Lewis at the helm as M.C. During the launch, it was revealed that all three major showcases will be centralized at the oval. While more details on DJs and specific event features are expected to drop soon. Sponsorship Manager Michelle Straughn helped build the buzz by unveiling a star-studded artiste roster.

Early Bird tickets were launched on February 27th.
Friday, April 24 | Legends of Reggae Show & Dance

Kickstarting the weekend, is a night dedicated to the legends who built the sound. The Legends of Reggae Show & Dance is bringing together a powerhouse mix of reggae icons and local royalty, with a lineup that features the legendary Super Cat, Barrington Levy, Sister Nancy, Norris Man, and Biggie Irie.

Doors Open at 7 PM and the Show & Dance starts at 9 PM.

Saturday, April 25 | The Guinness Showdown

Expect high energy and massive anthems as the ‘Prophet’ Capleton returns, alongside The Unruly Boss himself, Popcaan. This heavy-hitting duo leads a stacked Saturday roster that is already sending shockwaves through the local dancehall community. Joining them for the Guinness Showdown are General Degree, Doejay, Mastaa T, Weather 40, Chiief Diin, Brutal Crankstar, and Idea The Artist.

Doors open at 7 PM and the Showdown begins at 9 PM.

The grand finale on Sunday concludes the weekend with a heavy-hitting mix of lovers’ rock, soul, and dancehall. While the stage was already set for Dexta Daps, D’Yani, Kranium, Admiral Tibet, Spice and Company, and Rite Side of Red featuring Buggy Nhakente and Rhesa Garnes, the energy shifted today as R&B powerhouse Fantasia and global sensation DJ Puffy were added to the talent stack, guaranteeing an explosive finish to Barbados Reggae Weekend.

Doors open at 3 PM and Showtime is at 5 PM.

Step into the General Experience and immerse yourself in the Reggae Village Food Court, hit the mega bars, and make sure your fit is on point for the curated ‘Selfie Photo Ops’ that will be scattered throughout the Oval.

For those looking to level up their weekend, Live The Luxe offers a premium food-inclusive experience for both the Showdown and Gardens. Patrons who are 18 years and older, will enjoy front-stage views, gourmet eats from top local chefs, complimentary house spirits, a beauty bar, and a dedicated VIP entrance.

To ensure everyone gets to and from the Oval safely, organizers have partnered with the Transport Board to provide official Park & Ride and After Show bus services.
